Cape Town

Cape Town, you have totally blown us away with what has been a truly amazing week.

~ We stretched out and challenged our little leggies with some amazing hikes, including the Lions Head and infamous Table Mountain. We took the challenging route to the summit via the brutal Platteklip Gorge and were rewarded with the most stunning views of this beautiful country, I could have stayed up there absorbing it all day.

~ We surfed, drank amazing wines and visited beautiful vineyards. Our favourite was Babylonstoren, so much more than just a vineyard with its own homegrown vegetables, farm shop and mulberry meditation patch (right up my street as you can imagine!)

~ We took strolls along white sandy beaches, went for morning runs along the Waterfront, and took a road trip along Chapmans Peak drive. The route down to the southern tip of the country, Cape Point, treated us with stunning views of the most mesmerising coastline.

~ I fell in love with penguins at Boulders Beach, visited the humbling Robben Island and got my yoga and pilates fix at some fantastic studios

~ On top of all of this, the kindness of everyone we met, outstanding coffee and phenomenal food scene has made this by far the best city I think I’ve ever visited. I feel so very lucky to be able to travel as I do, it’s always a constant reminder that the little things I worry and obsess about really don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Thank you again Cape Town - we will be back to visit you again very soon! xx
